Dream Companions provide a range of services to help enable our clients to remain in their own home safely and comfortably, while giving family members peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are receiving the best possible care.

Time is a gift you can give your loved one with a Dream Companion. Your Dream Companion can be there when you can’t be.

Preparing a meal and then sharing the meal together. We know that sharing a meal is one of the best forms of company possible. Pottering around the shops. Sharing a cup of tea and a chat. Reminiscing. Creating the time to allow your loved one to do things at their own pace.

We understand that our clients are often interested in an exchange of knowledge and possibly developing new skills.  Learning a new language, a new skill or an instrument,  sharing stories and developing an understanding of a different culture is all possible with a Dream Companion.

  • Spending quality time with your loved one doing what they enjoy (card games, gardening, crosswords, baking etc)
  • Accompanying your loved one to appointments including hairdressers, nails, garden centres, doctors and specialists

  • Accompanying your loved one on supermarket outings

Dream Eldercare is New Zealand’s very first Eldercare agency placing live-in Companions and live-out Companions with Kiwis in Auckland.

Many of our clients start their care journey by having support with domestic tasks such as cleaning, changing sheets, or meal preparation before progressing over time to needing support with personal care. 

This helps the individual to get to know their Companion and makes them feel comfortable with the level of support they receive.

Live Out
Companion

Dream Live Out Companions will come to your loved ones home as often as you need. Whether its for a few hours for one day a week or full time.

Local Eldercare companion

Tend to be more mature and provide companionship and assistance for as long as your loved one would like.

Au Pair Eldercare Companion

Overseas Live In
Companions

(Au Pairs) are typically younger, predominantly from Europe, and are available to live with and care for your loved one on a daily basis, for a fixed term, typically 6-12 months.

Care can be tailored specifically to your personal home help needs, lifestyle and preferences. Our service begins with a comprehensive assessment of each client’s lifestyle, medical conditions and the support required to enable them to continue living independently in their own home.

Trust & Professional Oversight

All of our Eldercare Companions are reliable and are fully vetted including reference checks, Police checks and credit checks (NZ).

All Dream Eldercare Companions are first aid certified.

Dream Eldercare is committed to using the latest technology to ensure that your Companion arrives at the scheduled time and provides meaningful, quality time with your loved one.

We have a range of Companions available from Registered Nurses to Au Pairs; many of our companions have lovingly cared for their own family members.

During the assessment we will discuss with you:
